The many faces of our team. The next several pics are just some of the various expressions you would have seen had you been here the last 4 weeks.

Zoolander. Or at least...attempted Zoolander.

A very common pose for us...Randy says something as an annoying little brother would, I react...and the others just roll their eyes.

Randy's second favorite pose...the first favorite I couldn't bear to post for the world to see. :) If it's yellow, let it mellow. If its brown, flush it down. A saying we live by due to water shortages!

Leaving...on a jet plane....don't know when we'll be back again.

The traffic is very shagalabagala (refer to today's post to check that word out)!

The road to Mzenga...I think we can all attest to the fact that it is not nearly as smooth as it looks!! It was a bit of a bumpy ride! :)

This is Caleb...the Tanner's adopted son. I don't know if anyone has shared the story of Caleb in the posts, but Caleb was abandoned when he was born...actually, he was literally thrown away...at the bottom of the hole in an outhouse. Someone heard him crying and dug the floor up to get him. Then Tim and Emily got him. He is now almost 4 months old...and positively beautiful. It makes us all wonder what God has in store for this child...God certainly went to great lengths to rescue him.

While in the village, Tim and Emily (who live there) introduced us to a new kind of plant...which makes a wonderful tea! So Tim asked some of the kids to pick the plant and then get it ready to boil...

Then they started picking the "petals" off so Tim could make us some wonderful Rosella Tea.

It's amazing what people carry on their heads here! Even the little people!

Brent dared me (Sara) to catch a chick while we were in the village. Everyone got a good chuckle out of watching me chase the chicken and her chicks around the yard...but were shocked when I actually did get one. It wasn't until I went to set it down that the mama got in my face. Haha.

The oldest Zaramo couple we met in our time. They are 81 years old and doing great. But are still without Christ.

The kids are just too sweet. These little ones made themselves at home on the back porch of the Tanner's house.

Our dear friend, Imma, got some pet doves while we were in the village. A male and a female and he is going to take care of them.

Ima thought his new pet needed to meet me up close. Though he did say this one was named Sara, and the other one was the name of my future husband (?? It may not be named for a while!) Imma, what a funny guy! :)

I don't think this kid has ever seen Zoolander...but much to Brent's delight, the kid is a natural. :)

This is Lulu...she has a smile that will absolutely melt your heart.

Here are some of our ESL "students"...today was our last day with them. They are very fun to teach and to get to know!

And for Sarah's birthday, Brent cooked us up a meal called "Greek Chicken" (thanks Mrs. Pilson for passing that recipe on!)...haha, but first, he had to learn to cut up a whole chicken with the help of Carol!
